Luis Torres, Senior Structural Engineer
Forte Consulting and Investigations is proud to welcome Luis Torres to our Florida team. Luis is a Professional Engineer and Project Manager with more than 20 years of experience in planning, directing, and overseeing multi-million-dollar construction projects from concept to completion. He has vast experience as project manager and superintendent in general contracting enhancing both his leadership and problem-solving skills. Luis gained significant experience while managing the construction administration division for an engineering firm. Additionally, he specialized in design fix solutions for contractors that failed to comply with building plans and specifications.
Luis obtained his B.S. in Civil Engineering at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus. Luis received his Professional Engineer License in Puerto Rico in 2007 and his Florida license in 2019. He is married with one son and enjoys exercise, competing in endurance races, music, and spending time with his family.
Based in Orlando, Luis will be working alongside of Charles Long to facilitate the daily engineering needs of our clients. As a Spanish speaker, he will also be assisting our clients that have Spanish speaking needs both here in the US and in Puerto Rico.
