Notable Work Experience:
After serving as a volunteer firefighter, Michael (Mike) Daily was sworn in as a police officer in Chester Pennsylvania in 1985, and began as a Patrol Officer. From 1998-2011 he served as the police department’s Criminal Investigator, specializing in internal investigations and crimes relating to juveniles and elderly persons. Throughout his time at the Chester Township Police Department, he held the positions of Fire Investigator, Arson Expert, Narcotics Expert, and Detective. He served the rest of his time on the force as Senior Corporal and Lieutenant.
Mike is an active Arson Expert and Fire Investigator, as well as Fire Marshal for Lower Chichester Township. He is a member of the International Association of Arson Investigators, National Association of Fire Investigators, the Fraternal Order of Police and a Life Member of the Brookhaven Fire Company.
Mike’s Approach to Investigating Claims:
“After receiving an assignment, I travel to the scene without input from local officials. I like to see the scene for myself before hearing theories from others. I call it a ‘blank canvas.’ This approach works for me and proves vital in keeping my integrity as an open-minded investigator.”
