Ronald McDonald House Charities of Philadelphia – Served with Love Program

On Monday, January 15, 2024 (Martin Luther King Day), Forte and a group of industry friends gathered at the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House to volunteer for their Served with Love Program. We helped prepare dinner for their current guests, families who have children being treated at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children.
Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Philadelphia Region is a nonprofit organization that provides temporary lodging, transportation, meals, and social services to families who travel to Philadelphia for pediatric care. They seek to remove travel related concerns so that families can focus on their children’s well-being.
Our group was also given a tour of the facility and we learned how the Philadelphia Eagles used Shamrock Shakes to help build the first Ronald McDonald House.
If you are interested in supporting this amazing organization, there are various ways you can help. From volunteering in the kitchen to purchasing items from their wish list to making an individual financial donation or holding your own fundraiser, there are options for all levels of involvement. Visit the Ways to Give page of their website to learn more.
